Music in World Cultures, Inc., is at the forefront of a growing movement that recognizes the importance and need of involving musicians in the area of world missions. Professionally, we refer to ourselves as ethnomusicologists. In practiced, we are translators of culture. Every culture embodies its view of the world, life and its system of beliefs in its music. We use music as a means of accessing culture for breaking down barriers and building bridges to establish cross-cultural relationships.
